Alpial Welfare Trust has been carrying out welfare activities since 2011 in the rural areas south of Rawalpindi. During this period, local residents generously donated 5 kanals of land on Chakri Road to the Trust. After assessing the needs of the area and conducting a detailed survey, the Trust unanimously decided to establish a 50-bed Mother and Child Hospital, which was named Fatima Tuz Zahra Mother and Child Hospital. The hospital was subsequently constructed on the donated land and fully equipped with all necessary medical and non-medical facilities under the Trust. Spread over a covered area of 30,000 square feet, the hospital comprises a basement, ground floor, and first floor. It is located on 5 kanals of land adjacent to the entrance of Abdullah City Housing Society, near Rajar Village, Rawalpindi, approximately 35 kilometers from central Rawalpindi on the main Chakri Road. The site enjoys open access from three sides, providing excellent opportunities for future expansion and improved accessibility. Chakri Road serves as a vital link between the M-2 Motorway and Islamabad/Rawalpindi, and the surrounding area is experiencing rapid development with numerous housing schemes and farmhouses. The region is also expected to benefit significantly from future infrastructure projects, including the Ring Road connecting the National Highway to the New Islamabad International Airport, the relocation of the Fatima Jinnah Women University campus, the establishment of Rangers Headquarters, and the development of several new housing societies, making the hospital ideally positioned to serve a growing population.
